What does seizure look like?

This morning my I was laying in bed with my little one and his eyes and fingers

were both flickering or pulsating at the same rhythym. There would be anywhere

from 2-10 seconds inbetween movement. It seemed odd. Does that sound like

seizure activity?

Is there any way of knowing if your child is having absence or other small

seizures without MRI? I really don't want him to get an MRI.
