Guest guest
Dear Jeanne, One of the best things you can do for anal itching and bowels problems, in addition to diet, is enemas. Alternate nystatin enemas with acidophilus enemas as instructed in the articles. Or even use garlic tea alternated with cabbage rejuvelac enemas. Also apply coconut oil directly on the areas that itch as often as possible. Aching muscles from increasing nystatin is die-off symptoms, so that's not a bad thing, but maybe doubling your dose was too much. Add one every 3-4 days instead of all at once. I hope that helps. Guest guest
Hi, Jeanne..... Years ago, before I understood anything about yeast or even knew I had it, I used to experience a LOT of this itching and it does drive you crazy after awhile. The only thing that worked for me was a prescriptive anti-fungal cream. It's not a big deal and you should be able to get some from your doctor without even having to go in - Just say you've used it before or needed it before or whatever wording won't feel too dishonest. You can get some anti-fungals over the counter, but I don't know if they are strong enough. I don't get it any more, since I changed my diet so radically. Thank Heavens! I'll bet it will leave you as quickly as it came in any case. Hugs, Judy __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Hi Bee and all! Bee, you were talking about reacting to Nystatin due to increased die-off and I am wondering if you have ever heard of MY problem with it. Whenever I take Nystatin for more than a couple of days, even in the TINIEST proportions, I end up with a very low temperature (under 95 degrees) and feeling the most horrible chills. What is causing that? I recently shelled out $80.00 for some more of it and am having NO reaction whatsoever, which leads me to believe it is no good. What do you think? Thank you as always, Judy __________________________________________________

I must have been reading your mind! While waiting to hear from you I did a coffee enema followed by a nystatin enema. My insides alread feel calmer. I'll wait another 3-4 days and try it again. I'll also try increasing the nystatin slowly as you suggest. My doctor has been trying to get me to raise it up again, but I'm just now willing to feel bad all the time. Maybe if I ease into it... Guest guest
Hi Judy, Thanks for the tip and the encouragement. I hope it goes away as quickly as it arrived! I'm have faith that the nystatin enemas will take care of it and that I won't have to resort to anything else. In a worst case scenario, at least I know that there's something else out there. Thanks, Jeanne ____________________________________________________ Start your day with - make it your home page http://www./r/hs

I even quit feeding my chickens grain and they seem happy providing for themseleves. Any ideas Hi Neal. That wonderful you are having good results!! Good for you! Your body itches for good reasons, but good unadulterated foods won't cause it of course. They may provide the nutrients your body needs in order to heal. Itching is part of the healing process. Hopefully you only wear 100% cotton underwear and your laundry soap is natural. Doing alternating enemas using antifungals and probiotics will help too: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/enema3.php Also see this article for some helpful suggestions: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/skin3.php I think that's great you raise your own chickens! Guest guest
Sorry for the gross subject line... My 4 yo son has been treated for hookworm a couple times now -- as far as we knew it went away finally. He has a red and itchy rash around his anus and he has a rash on his right hand. This has been going on for a couple weeks now. We thought it was yeast from chelation so he has been on diflucan for a couple weeks now. It seemed like it got better and then when we did our last round of chelation the rash acted up again. We ended that round though on Monday morning and now it's Friday and the rash is still not better again. So now I'm beginning to think perhaps the hookworm is back or some other pathogen causing the anal itching? Does anyone have any insight they can share or know what other things can cause anal itching? He's getting pretty sick of it and I feel really bad I can't figure this out for him. Thanks!
