Guest guest
Back in February, I'd wanted to respond to this post and must have had a lot of sh-- going on, so having gotten up to give my daughter the first dmsa at 4, this seemed as good time as any. I'd thought that wrote this in response to 's comment, and it looks like it was Alan. Date: Sunday, February 22, 2009, 11:51 PM But I will concede that some people who take it do believe that it helps them, just as many people are certain that the faith healer lengthened one leg, until they later discover that the trick is done by holding both legs at an angle and then shifting direction in the frenzy of prayer. And, PLEASE, let no one take that as an anti Christian remark. Jesus is fine. Alan So there's faith healing and faith healing; one being total trust and the other being total confidence (or as total as one can get in the face of aggressive problems), either way, it's reliance on God, Good, and it does bear fruit. And borrowing an analogy from Jesus, it depends on what room (or space) we're in: trying to figure out everything ourselves and being in control, or knowing this is too much and asking and allowing that Help and Love. We have experienced so many miracles, sudden shifts of perception where impending disaster gives place to Good, and I know they are for everyone. And I think said why not just pray for the healing of autism?? Why not?? Definitely.? And it has to be the child's/adult's desire too, as they have final say.? And then there are the vaccine manufacturers, the American dental association; we're all very intertwined with one another. Here's how it seems to me, like this 17th century church in Europe, where all the members had a small stone lantern with a candle.? When only a few people came to church, the light -- while present -- was relatively dim.? When there were many the space was illumined and glorious. And so, where it takes time for the child or adult to adjust to the idea of healing, we do things like chelating and supplements and other therapies to support the progress, and are very grateful for them. I'm just wanting to keep the door wide open for miracles and my attention clear so I can hear what my daughter really needs in each moment, each interaction.? And is it challenging!? And I couldn't have stayed this course twice without a LOT of Unseen Help.? And I'm no-one special. Francine
