Guest guest
My 2 yo dd has big GI issues. She is a patient of Dr. Ks. So far she is NT (ds is ASD), but she has a major water obsession and irritability from time to time. She is SCD (she starts to leave us if she is not SCD). Even when we started her on SCD this did not result in formed stools for her. Her first formed stools came immediately after starting flagyl as per Dr. K. This eventually was less effective and we switched to Bactrim. Bactrim wasn't quite as effective as flagyl, but it was still effective. Then the bactrim eventually became less effective so I tried OoO. The OoO was GREAT for her; it seemed to work better than either of the scripts, actually. But, now this too is starting to become less effective. I know I need to be rotating more frequently and I would like to use naturals if I could. Dr. K has taken her off of flagyl because he doesn't like her on it for so long either. She is also MAJORLY distended. I would like to chelate her but I have been waiting because of her young age. Now I am ready to start (she is almost 2 and 1/2), but these (what I believe are bacteria) issues are a problem and I feel like she is not stabilized enough to start chelation. I tried GSE a long time ago and I don't think she reacted well to it. But, I can try it again. She is currently on 30 mg biotin, 3 drops OoO, diflucan, Sac B, Klaire's Detox Support, and 300 mg/day Enhansa. Anyone have any ideas about what and how to rotate for her? What could I try to add? When I add what ever is recommended should I take the OoO away at that time. If I tried say 1 drop of GSE and got rid of the OoO I doubt that would be enough for her... I need something powerful. I am so scared to loose her to that vacant stare... Thanks!
