Guest guest
Thank You Alyssa.? Lots of good information which I will pass on.? I don't know, only that she has had this most of her life, and her mother has done lots of research too, and worked with diet.? I haven't talked with her, only the great-aunt, my friend. ? These are great suggestions though.? Thank You so much. Francine ?Re: Help from gut experts needed for brave little 4-yr old Posted by: " Alyssa Davi " johnalyssa43@... ? johnalyssa43 Sun Dec?13,?2009 6:55?pm (PST) Could?the child have pancreatitis?? ...pancreatic inflammation known to come on suddenly with a great deal of pain! ? The pancreas seems to be a " forgotten organ " that few doctors properly address.? At least that's been our experience. ? http://www.netdoctor.co.uk/ate/childrenshealth/202381.html ? Strict SCD can help... but she may need pancreatic enzymes, as well as digestive enzymes, depending on the severity of her case.? My thought is a digestive enzyme may not be strong enough.? ? Creon 5, Creon10, Creon 25, and Creon 40?works well for some kids with insufficient pancreatic enzyme production.? My son is on it and has responded favorably (after almost two years of diarrhea that nothing would help!). ? She should have her glucose levels checked as diabetes goes along with this profile as well as hypoglycemic spells.? We are dealing with this presently in our son. ? Limit fats.? Eat smaller meals throughout the day, taking enzymes with each. ? Hope it helps her.? ;(? The poor baby! ? Improved health for all the children! Speak with Him Thou for He hearest.
