Guest guest
, We find that Aleve works better for 12, than Advil. When its a migrane we have Imitrex nose spray that seems to help. always has a headache some days are worse...........anyways just my two cents le
Guest guest
Okay, I reread my post. I did not outgrow my health problems, they just changed. At puberty, I no longer had constant ENT infections. Or asthma. It was well until my early thirties before I had more problems. Now, I am fighting an autoimmune disease. Sorry for the confusion, I read the post, and thought, what am I saying, that I'm healthy???? Sandi, 's Mom
Guest guest
Hope was diagnosed at 13 months and outgrew it around 2.5 - 3 years old. Her little immune system needed a boost and a break from all of the infections. She hasn't had so much as a sniffle since then and she will be 11 next month. > Hi , > At what age did you daughter outgrow her immune issues? Was it with > puberty? Guest guest
Dear , what an experience and I read it with horror. I am so sorry that you had an experience like this friend, but I am also glad that you had someone there right over you when this happened also. This must of been very scary. Hang in there, and you really had a lot of people supporting you. Better days are coming. Super hugs. Love. Sue #2 -- Re: Remicade Gone Bad Oh My ! Guest guest
Dearest , thank you also friend for kind words and support. I am still very nervous, but I know it will be " old hat " after a while. I am to start Enbrel in January sometime, so the practice now with the MTX will do me good. Be well friend. Love. Sue #2 -- Injectors and Enbrel Injection Site Reaction Sue.... For some reason, my husband was the one in charge of the Enbrel injections around here. I think it was because he liked to mix up the solution....kind of a little boy chemist thing maybe... Anyway, the nice thing about Enbrel (if it hasn't changed) was that it had a syringe and not one of these injectors. They act like they are doing you a favor by " keeping the needle hidden from view at all times " . But who cares when you know it's gonna jab you like a dart gun any second?! I mean, I didn't have any fear of needles, but I fear those Injector Pens! I don't have to see the bullet in the barrel of the gun to fear what it is going to feel like, you know? Sorry to go off there, but know that we have even used smaller syringes and drained the meds out of these injector kits (only on Imitrex) so I could stand the injection. Not recommending anybody alter any of their prescribed injectable meds, but know that creativity can help even in these situations. I loved Enbrel while I was on it. It did help me quite a bit initially. I do want to mention the site reactions for me were mild, usually lasted a day or two (only had probably reactions 20 total). Was about a 2 " raised red, feverish circle around the injection site. It was tender, but would disappear as quickly as it came. All in all, not a big deal....and I think I had been on it a while before I ever had a reaction. Good luck with this drug. I'm sure you'll be great at injections. It really is easy when you can get along with the needle! Stay Healthy
Guest guest
Welcome , Wow 25 years of pain...I can't even imagine that. How wonderful they found something to help you. Will they ever have to replace that pump? Are you able to be out of the wheelchair now? Ive only been in pain since February and that is way to long for me. Finally i have an appt with the neuro surgeon on June 2nd and will then have surgery...hopefully my pain will go away then. Re: Tomorrow!!!! Hi, I am new to the group. My name is , Hi! I have been in pain for 25 years. For the last 5 years up to october of 2003, I was in a wheelchair for anything over 100 feet. The reason I am telling you all this is I have something exciting I want to share with as many pain patients as possible. Around Sept 2003 I went to a neurosurgeon, (which was nothing unusual Ha!) He told me my body doesn't naturally produce the endorphin that controls pain. I said to myself " Sure " again. But I found out he was right the answer was right there. I am a christian, I promise this is the truth, please share this with others. They put a Morphine Pump in my stomach. I woke up and it was like " someone had turned off a switch, because my pain was gone. There is so much to explain please contact me at Makepeace03@... Guest guest
: It is a lot worse than you think. These people you are talking about took over the government by appointing Bush to the White House. Bush was not elected and the people who put him in that office are the main people involved in the drug trade. They want to get as many people on drugs as possible, just like they did in China and many other countries. If you are really interested in knowing who these people are that you are talking about, phone this toll-free number and ask for their free catalog: (800) 729-4131. Ask for their Global Insights Catalog. They will have it to you in about one weeks time. As for writing letters to the magazines and newspapers, television or whatever - they own most of them or control the people involved in publications through blackmail and other means. They also have the majority of the politicians in the palm of their hand. Many honest people from all over the world have been fighting these criminals since before most of us were ever born. You will find that out by reading the Global Insights Catalog. do not take my letters for some reason, so I try to have other people mail my letters to . Yours truly, Cliff Hume - Canada. Guest guest
Hi , My names Gill, I have a daughter who is 9 yrs of age. She has Scoliosis. She was diagnosed with this last july. She had a curve of 50 degrees mid thoracic, back then. We then went for all the usual tests, MRI , etc. The MRI showed that the curve is progressing, and her spine is rotating, and the surgeon says that she has flat back. The next step for my daughter is an operation. We go on Wednesday 28th Jan 04. Because of all x-rays Bethany could not have anymore so we have been waiting since November 03. Our surgeon wants to confirm measurements and talk to us regarding expandable rods. I'm so scared, but my daughter wants the op so she doesn't have to wear her brace. That's kids for you!!! I don't know what curve measures until Wednesday. I just wanted to share you my story. I don't post much, I just read all e-mail's. I feel for your little one, I think many of us feel very humble. We live in England. Do you have a website? If you would like I will keep you posted on Wednesday. Take Care Gill Carmell, if you read this, sorry I did not ring, I think the time difference is to great, especially with you routine and mine, Take care thinking of you all gillxx
Guest guest
So, for just ONE more opinion....I think watching carbs is more important than counting calories. Low carb...low fat. But, that is just my opinion! lol I don't do either. I am too tight so I just try to eat what will fit in at this point. Right now I focus on getting in protein and fiber but I'm finding that gets more and more difficult to do as time goes on. I'm having some saline removed when I get my new port put in later this month so I can eat real food again! Take care, Jenni del Bosque <SDelBosque@...> wrote: Hi Jenni! I did go back to the gym.
