Guest guest
Kerrie Thankfully in my area they've always done a culture even if the quick one comes up negative. It shocked my ped the last time it came out positive. I'm thinking he's a carrier of strep. Need less to say a viral protocol is in the future. Gave him some olive leaf tonight, more c and d. Thanks Tammy Re: [ ] think son has strep? Culture question? My son got a neg on the rapid, the doctor refused the culture saying the rapid was accurate. With that episode my son developed PANDAS. The rapid is only 50-70% accurate and the AAP recommends a culture to confirm a negative rapid test. Kerrie In a message dated 9/14/2009 9:57:51 P.M. Guest guest
> Threw up today getting off the bus at school. Saturday he said he had a headache but doing a round of ac chelation and seemed ok. Last time this happened, we took him in for a strep test. The quick one said no, they culture it and it turns positive in a couple days. I eliminated strep at my house with OLE. > I haven't done a viral protocol, plan to. Strep is a bacteria, not a virus. However, OLE does help with both strep bacteria, and viruses. Dana
