Guest guest
Got to give him credit for the articulation there! What a unique way to put it. Have you looked at http://www.emofree.com/? I have done tapping, which is like acupuncture without the needles, for a basic definition, to help with anxiety with several children. Guest guest
Our 5 yr old's anxiety has decreased greatly with AC chelation. (13 months, 39 rounds.) He has excellent eye contact now - even " checking in " while reading a book with us. Where he is anxious - group settings like parties - it is now more like nervousness than anxiety. (He giggles and sticks to the outskirts, but can be drawn in eventually, without tears.) Maggied. > > My DS has greatly improved over the last 3 years using biomed but his social anxiety remains. Guest guest
Have you done a hair test? If he is toxic then chelation could definitely help. He tells me that looking into people's eyes is like looking into a shark's eyes. We have recently tried oxytocin nasal spray but with little to no difference. My two questions are: 1. Is this something that can/may improve with chelation? 2. Is there something else biomedically that I should look into trying? When with family and close friends he has wonderful eye contact, so I know he is capable. Thank you, Kirsten
Guest guest
I'm an adult with health problems due to my amalgam fillings. Anxiety was one of the first symptoms I got after my amalgams were placed, and because it started so early, I'm assuming it will be one of the last to go as I chelate. I'm not done yet, so I can't be sure, but that's my expectation. > > My DS has greatly improved over the last 3 years using biomed but his social anxiety remains. Guest guest
Biomedical stuff may help. But I also talk to my kids a lot about social realities. I have concerns about jumping to the conclusion that this is something fundamentally " wrong " with the child that they have this feeling. A lot of folks basically *are* sharks. Being aware of that isn't necessarily " a problem " -- in fact, being unaware of it can be a much bigger problem. I'm acutely aware of subtle things people do that signal their real intent, which is often not in my own best interest. On the one hand, it is stressful to live with such acute awareness. On the other hand, I manage to avoid bigger problems that other people very often just have to suffer through. Some things can't be avoided unless you can manage to not set foot on the slippery slope to begin with. Pulling that off requires clearly knowing there is danger long before other people recognize a situation as dangerous and taking action at a very early stage, well before most people would feel they have reason to take action. So while I often feel miserable over it, I wouldn't voluntarily give up that hyper-awareness. It has been too valuable. When I look at other people, their sense of feeling " comfortable " with things that bother me doesn't look appealing. I often conclude they feel " comfortable " because they are oblivious to the very real danger that I am sensing. So, instead, I work on finding ways to effectively use this awareness to my advantage rather than looking to just be numb to it. Shaping my life to exclude the " sharks " of the world as much as possible has gradually made my life happier and more comfortable. But I still am acutely uncomfortable around shark-like individuals -- and have no desire to get comfortable with them. Good luck with this. Guest guest
FWIW, anxiety is often due to *adrenal issues*. While the root of this *may* be mercury, it also may not and instead be due to something else. Many people find that cortisol saliva testing followed by proper hydrocortisone supplemenation greatly improves anxiety and other seemingly mental health issues. > > > > My DS has greatly improved over the last 3 years using biomed but his social anxiety remains. Guest guest
Did you remove the amalgams before chelating?
