which multivits for older kids (can swallow pills), AND getting-started question

I've got two questions for a friend, I didn't run into these questions for

myself or my kids.

1. For kids old enough to swallow pills (90-pound range, so dosages halfway

between little kids and adults), does anyone have a multivit that can be used as

a foundation? Obviously stand-alone pills need to be added, but is there

anything that works well as a starting point? A couple of the Thorne multivits

seem like a reasonable starting point, but I'm not sure if there are others out

there.

2. Typically, when first starting the list of vits/mins in the New Users

Welcome document, do most kids need fiddling with types of supps (citrate vs

asparate vs picolinate, type of B6, etc), or if it's done fairly gradually, is

it mostly fairly straightforward? My kids are less affected than most on this

board, so I needed to do very little tweaking.

Thank you,
