Guest guest
Well, Here in WI, the apparent cess-pool of H1N1 cases, our college football team had probably 1/3 of their entire roster sick with the flu. They assume H1N1 because several tested positive. The school is being criticized for not following flu policy. The players said they 'sucked it up' and played the game. I guess when 40% of your income comes from football revenue you do what you gotta do! All recovered nicely. Isn't this the age group that is said to be at such high risk of H1N1 death and disaster if they do not get vaccinated? 18-22 yrs. To me, I think this is just a great example of how overboard the scare tactics have gone... these kids are FINE! I am impressed by the number of kids who fell ill, though. They won the game. The outbreak is considered 'over'. This story could go either way: will it fuel the fire for mass vaccination or will we take a step back and see the risks are no greater than other flu seasons and reduce the media hysteria?
