Guest guest
Vanicream came highly recommend to me. You used to have to ask at Target, was on the other side of the counter. Was told pretty pure and used to compound many prescription meds with. My mom would pay a fortune for other fancy creams. This is the one she uses and swears by it to all her friends. I like it but my husband doesn't. Anyway... Tammy [ ] What lotion to use for transdermal ALA round? I want to try our next AC protocol round using ALA mixed with lotion to apply to his skin. We have only done a few rounds and hoping this would make it easier. I welcome " any " suggestions on lotion brands that are safe to use and any tips, such as which body part is best to apply lotion. I assume I should use gloves myself while rubbing it on my six year old grandson. I may have mercury under dental crowns, so I want to limit my own exposure. Thanks JoAnn

Guest guest
I was wondering this same thing, as I am planning to use ALA transdermally for my dds. We live over an hour away from even a Target store (the boonies). Is there a lotion that would be giving some needed supplements (say antioxidants) in the lotion, in addition to being pure? I'm thinking to combine as many things as possible, as all these supplements are driving me crazy. Is it a good idea to have the ALA in with other things, or would that interfere with it? I can order online more easily than traveling hours to stores. Thanks, > > Vanicream came highly recommend to me. You used to have to ask at Target, was on the other side of the counter. Guest guest
Google Vanicream and if you order via the internet, maybe some thing to add on while ordering supplements. I think even Walmart might carry, any drug store too for that matter. Just ask because it might be behind the counter. Guest guest
ALA is Alpha Lipoic Acid. It is an over-the-counter supplement that can be purchased at a vitamin store, health food store, pharmacy, etc... Many people here on the list buy it here because of the quality and small dose capsule: http://www.kirkmanlabs.com/ViewProductDetails@Product_ID36 (DOT) aspx TJÂ ________________________________ From: Debra <dkavky@...> Sent: Mon, November 23, 2009 9:20:10 PM Subject: [ ] Re: What lotion to use for transdermal ALA round? Guest guest
Best is oral, but you can mix it with lotion and use it transdermal. Either / Or. Don't mix and match during the round.
