Guest guest
I'll second that...now I just have to get off my butt and do both things (work out and clean my house)! The good news is that after the 2nd fast song I wasn't dying like I have been in the past. I was still too tired to do another fast song but I could at least see where I'll soon be able to add another one soon! Question: Don't u feel sooooo good after a workout? I don't just mean the endorphies - which are cool too - but I mean like you've done something great for yourself? What I don't understand is, if it makes me feel so good after it's done, why don't I look forward to it more?? It's like having a clean house - sure feels good when it's clean, but going through the process sucks, eh? Mindy Music Unlimited - Access over 1 million songs. Try it free. Guest guest
I also have to join in here. I feel accomplished when I do my sit-ups and my walking. Now I just have to get my butt out of bed in the morning to do the walking!Cheryl N <life_is_more_than_food@...> wrote: I'll second that...now I just have to get off my butt and do both things (work out and clean my house)! Guest guest
wow, that's great!! I'm cureently doing a program that when completed I'll hopefully be able to do 3 sets of 15 elevated push-ups at a time. here's the plan for those interested: Phase 1: Wall push ups - place your hands shoulder length aprat on the wall, step back about two steps, raise up on your tippy toes , and then do the push up motion against the wall. do this untill you can do 3 set of 15. Phase 2: Girl push ups - on the floor with your hand shoulder length apart. raise you legs so you kness are touching the ground. pudonw and up making sure your chest touches the ground. keep your head, back and butt in a straight line. do this until you can do 3 sets of 15!! Phase 3: normal push ups - same as above but you legs are extended with you toes instead of your knees touching the ground. Again do this until you can do 3 sets of 15. Phase 4 (final phase): elevated push-ups - same as above up your feet are on a sturdy chair, or sofa. If ya try it let me know how you're progressing with it. > > can you believe this 58 year old ...100 pound over weight person has > been doing push ups (10) 2X a day? Guest guest
Just wanted to share that my exercise physiologist told me it is better to stand flat footed while doing the wall pushups. But I'd also say do it any way you want -- as long as you do it! Guest guest
> can you believe this 58 year old ...100 pound over weight person has > been doing push ups (10) 2X a day? Sure I can! It's a fallacy and not a little bit of size bigotry that makes people think we larger people don't or can't exercise as well as those of a smaller stature! Portnick, about 280 pounds, runs her own exercise studio in NYC, started with the money she won in a lawsuit with Jazzercise, who refused to hire her as an instructor, even though she was more than qualified and had the certificates to prove it, because of her size alone. Larger women run marathons, compete in sports, both professional and amateur, and go dancing. Heck, our own member Ann rides her bike and even roller blades with her kids, as well as build furniture and fences and used to work on an oil tanker! We can do anything we set out to do. We just have to *believe* we can do it and get off our butts and *do* it! Sue in NJ who has a lazy butt

I was actually thinking of becoming an instructor when I got down to about 200 lbs. I'm just tired of all the women on the video tapes being thin mini's except for and his gang. I'm going to get off my butt and do it. >

Guest guest
be careful biotin doesn't kill yeast it just keeps them from turning into the more destructive really hard to kill kind.
