Either way is OK. MOST people start with DMSA for a few rounds, and then add

ALA.

It is not neccessary, only a personal preference.

The idea is to clean up the body a little bit first with the DMSA, since it does

not cross the blood-brain-barrier (BBB).

The main thing is to use the ALA, which does cross the BBB and gets the mercury

out of the brain.

Think of DMSA as ALA's little helper in the body.

===>Most start with Dmsa and then add Ala in 2-12 rounds. 1/8-1/4 mg per lb

to start, every 4 hours for the Dmsa around the clock including at night. When

you add in the Ala, every 3 hours during the day, can go 4 hours at night due to

slowed metabolism while sleeping. For three days. If you miss a dose by more

than an hour, stop and wait for the next round.

So I am confused do you start with ala first or DMSA?
