Thank you for being there for your chronically ill friend. Take care, ia [ ] OT - Detox Foot Pads Hello Everyone...I don't post often, but honestly do read all posts every day. I value input by everyone and learn many things to help my friend and others who have LD.My best friend has Chronic LD and is severely ill due to many co-infections and resultant health problems.I've seen threads in prior months regarding detox foot pads and would like some suggestions on where to purchase them.So many members gave such rave reviews about them, but I did not keep any info regarding everyone's preference on where to purchase. Please share again your sources to purchase.Thank you so very much.Sandy T in Ohiostusing@... Guest guest
I haven't done any research on them, but my " gut feeling " after seeing this procedure advertised on the bulletin board of our former quackopractor... I mean chiropractor, is that these detox-through-your- feet things are nothing but the latest way for salesmen to package snake oil. I believe that different people have different ph levels on their skin, different blood types, etc... (many different factors) that would allow the water to change to different colors. It appears as a simple middle school chemistry experiment to me. Surely it can't be THAT easy to de-tox your body. As I said, the only research I did was read a 4 page brochure at the chiro's office, but I was thinking, " what a load of... " when I read it. Same thing goes for the patches they sell that are supposed to change your " energy " in your body for various results. They have a " candida patch " that is supposed to send out some frequency so that candida can't live in your body. I asked the chiro, " are you REALLY trying to tell me that that patch will work on candida without a diet?? " And he balked a little... " well, it works great, but it might work better if you don't eat sugar " . One of our problems is that many people take advantage of our health condition in order to take our money as well. I, for one, am sick and tired of greedy bastards. Again... I might be wrong, but... Doug > > HI to all, > Does anyone have knowledge about these foot pads that are supposed to > detox your body. Guest guest
Doug I do the ionic foot bath and I do believe in it, your feet have many pores and I always feel great after I have them and I know I still need to continue on doing it since i have alot of toxins in my body, sometimes the simpliest things are really the best like this diet, its easy but people are always questioning things if doctors dont prescribe meds. Alot of pads do work and I wouldn't doubt these. I think you'd be better off just soaking your feet in chlorine-free water and hydrogen peroxide or Epsom salts or sea salt. Detoxing through the feet is very helpful, but like Doug I am suspicious of the claims made for foot pads and those foot baths that change colors. My aunt has the foot bath, and the process does pull minerals out of the body, so the person has to take minerals before, during and after the treatment. I don't think they are a good idea. There are many other ways to detox without pulling minerals from the body. Cheers, Bee

Hers definitely pulls minerals out of the body, so she has liquid minerals (that came with the foot bath) to give everyone doing the treatment. And it is best to take liquid minerals like ConcenTrace liquid ionic minerals before, during and after treatments. I'd be cautious about doing them Sharon. There are so many other safer ways to detox through your feet, i.e. water and H202 or Epsom salts, or sea salt, etc. without pulling minerals from your body. I also wouldn't trust the foot pads. A better way would be to make up a good natural poultice with spices like mustard, or herbs that will pull toxins out. Cheers, Bee

Stick to the simple " tried & true " treatments my friend! Technology is never is better than natural treatments. Bee
Guest guest
Bee, I did 3 foot baths and felt terrible!! Extra minerals were not recommended to me by the person who did the foot baths. I could tell that it was depleting my body by the way I felt. I would not recommend this foot baths to anyone who is sick! ekhillgardner <ellen2@...> wrote: >Thanks, Bee, for your reply. Guest guest
If you google ionic foot bath scams, you get a lot of interesting info. I became suspicious of my ND as he offers these at his clinic. I tried one once, before I read about the scams. The only thing they do is detox your wallet of excess cash. > > > > Bee, > > I did 3 foot baths and felt terrible!! Extra minerals were not > recommended to me by the person who did the foot baths. Guest guest
Doug, I did 3 foot bath's and they do pull toxins out!! I wasn't told that I would need extra minerals, so I felt really bad after the third one. I could see yeast, mucus, and heavy metals on the ionic gadget. She rinsed it off and I could see metal flakes!! My feet tingled 24 hrs after the bath. I would not recomend doing these foot baths unless your body has extra minerals. Also if your sick!! Sharon, did you experience vivid dreams after having these foot baths? Guest guest
It is an outright scam--- just like the fellow who shows up to test your water and he places a magentic electrode into your glass of water from your tap and it ionizes the water and turns it black and he tells you that you are drinking sludge-- that is a scam as is the foot pads are. Annie Abbott <jeannieboo1@...> wrote: Hi all My friend called me earlier today all excited-she lives in another state, but we talk nearly every day. I think she's been had, they're supposed to do any number of amazing things, including lessening the amount of pain you're in. Has anyone else seen these, or used them? She said you put them on the soles of your feet at night, and in the morning when you remove them, they'll have a nasty color on them from perspiration that contains toxins and waste products from your body. I guess they're supposed to be some sort of holistic product. I think she's being scammed, but I'll be happy for her if they work. She has back and neck pain, fibromyalgia, and a mixture of other auto-immune diseases, including RA. I'll be grateful for any feedback, as this is the first I've heard of this product. Guest guest
Hi Amy, I used detox foot pads once or twice and mine were in the morning very dirty! Black with a metal kind of shine on them! Where did that come from? I also felt a bit weird afer it... Interesting bit about foot pads I found on: 1. http://betterhealthguy.com/joomla/images/stories/PDF/klinghardt_detox_pads.pdf " The MAJOR physiological effect of the foot pads is in the stimulation of the liver and kindny meridians. This increases the metabolic rate at which the liver and kidney cells detoxify the blood and purify the body. " 2. http://betterhealthguy.com/joomla/index.php?option=com_content & view=article & id=1\ 16 & Itemid=97 . > > I've been reading the posts on detox foot baths (and the varied results) and I was wondering if anyone has used detox foot pads. If so, what were the results? I tried them once (Kinoki brand), expecting not to feel a thing -- and it seemed to make me sick. I had had it on for several hours and I started shaking (like you do when you have a fever) and feeling really creepy. I took it off and recovered after a bit, but I thought that was really weird. The color on the foot pad, by this point, was medium gray. My daughter (who is in med school and thought the whole thing was a crock -- but was curious anyway), tried it and had no reaction and the color after leaving it on all night was only slightly gray, if that. > > I don't know what to make of this.
