I would say it's best to give supplements with meals, which would work out well if you have a kid who grazes frequently. We were lucky to get three meals down. Hi I am starting the first round of dmsa with my son today and I had read that you can dump all the supplements and dmsa together in a bowl, mix and them divide equally into capsules. This sounds the easiest way to me. But I notice the supplements(zinc, b, c, and mag, etc.) are recommended 4times per day, doing it this way will divide the supplements into 6 times per day, or 8 times per day if given with ALA. Is this ok to give the supps more often like this? Also, are there any supplements that should specifically NOT be divided like this? Thanks, Jen
Guest guest
, Thank you for your reply, he is a grazer and since he is new to pill swallowing he gets a cookie as a reward when he swallows them, so its not on an empty stomach. I am hoping pretty soon we wont need it. He did fine at night without it. Since I already had the capsules made up I went ahead and gave them this way. It was ok except he didn't sleep much, I think it was the b vitamins. So the next day I seperated out the night time doses. And he slept much better. A little extra hassle but oh well. The daytime doses seemed to be fine mixed all together. thanks, Jen From: <Ladyshrink111@...> Subject: Re: [ ] supplement frequency?
