I used No-Fenol until my son lost his phenol issue, which happened for him at round 10 of ALA chelation. For me, I used No-Fenol until I lost my issue, which was at round 50. So ALA chelation eliminated the phenol issue here. Epsom salt baths can help, if you can't use No-Fenol enzyme. Dana

Guest guest
I don't know of any but there a enzyme formulas that also do phenols. Like Trienza-Houston and Multiple enzymes by Kirkman. Liver support also helped us with phenols. > > > > Does anyone know if there are other foods or herbs that can help the body digest phenols? > > > > Try molybdenum, it often helps with sulfur methabolism and phenols. > Galina >
Guest guest
We use V-gest enzymes by Enzymedica, it is targeted at grain and fruit/veggie digestion, deals nicely with the phenol issues my son has. I take it as well. It is not very expensive. Guest guest
Interesting. Have you ever used No Fenol? How does it compare in effectiveness? In cost? We have a lot of success with No Fenol for vegetable matter digestion, but it does not help with phenol problems at all, and now Devin Houston says it is not meant to digest phenols, only the vegetable matter of the foods it's in. He says most people will need to remove phenols from their diets. Thanks, Suzanne > > > > > > > > Does anyone know if there are other foods or herbs that can help the body digest phenols? > > > > > > > > > > Try molybdenum, it often helps with sulfur methabolism and phenols. > > > Galina > > > > > >
Guest guest
Ironically, we use Phenol Assist and it has helped us and we have noticed he tolerates phenolic foods now when he takes the enzymes. So I have seen a difference along with liver support, but I am sure it varies. I also tend to take anything Devin says lightly because he also says that Virastop does not work. When I have seen with my own eyes that it does when I take it to kill off whatever offender has taken over my body. So I tend to weight things objectively unless they are not making sense with what I am seeing in actual practice and use of a product. Kirkman has a few different enzyme formula's that do phenols along with everything else. They have an enzyme chart that tells you which ones do what. This is not to say you should fill your child full of phenols and give enzymes, just that it is very hard to eliminate all phenols from one's diet as a solution. Our experiences has show that my son's original extreme sensitivity to phenols and salicylates is not longer extreme but very mild now...and that happened with liver support, chelation, and enzymes. > > > > > > > > > > Does anyone know if there are other foods or herbs that can help the body digest phenols? > > > > > > > > > > > > > Try molybdenum, it often helps with sulfur methabolism and phenols. > > > > Galina > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
Thanks, that's good to know. Did you also take the phenol assist companion? Our phenol problem used to be mild and is now severe. Any thoughts about what I might want to look for that could have caused that to occur? Guest guest
We did not use the Phenol companion. What made it worse? Hmm...is he on liver support? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Does anyone know if there are other foods or herbs that can help the body digest phenols? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Try molybdenum, it often helps with sulfur methabolism and phenols. > > > > > > Galina > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
He's not on any liver supports. His liver tests have always been normal, though he has been on antifungals for 3 years now.
