I am drinking the garlic tea, and the salt, lemon, water-- but it seems as the the desire for actual food is so slight that at dinner I actually am making myself have some chicken or fish. Part of the cleanse? Up until last week I could hardly keep up with grocery shopping! ==>Debra, that's great news you have more energy. A reduced appetite is not a bad thing but it is not necessarily part of the cleanse. Be sure to eat well in spite of it. Bee's egg drink is great when your appetite isn't up-to-par. Guest guest
What are the possible causes of appetite loss? My DD does not eat much and this has been going on for quite some time now. I think that there may be a link to when we started chelating, at least I have in her notes that she had poor appetite on her first round over one year ago. But don't remember if her appetite started to diminish before chelation. I see that many report a loss of appetite on rounds, but my DD doesn't eat much on rounds and in between. She has a small appetite and she has also become really picky, rejecting foods that she used to eat well a couple of years ago. (She ate absolutely wonderfully as a baby/toddler, no feeding issues whatsoever. She did become picky a few months into biomed...) I'm looking to identify exact mechanisms at work here if possible that I can try to correct to improve things. She eats very little at school and the staff there are really starting to get on my back about her restricted diet being the root cause. She will eat more of the things that she likes (bread, pasta, sweets...) but still it isn't very much and she will can go for a few hours before saying that she is hungry. On a related note, I've started chelating my son too and he too is now showing a reduced appetite. He usually gets up early (6 - 6:30 am) ravenous & wants to eat right away. Lately, he's been getting up early but waiting 30 minutes before eating and asking less often for snacks between meals. What's going on exactly & what I can try that could help improve their appetites?

At my house, several factors, including giving too much of certain supplements, especially B vitamins. Some kids lose their appetites when they have yeast issues, altho most will eat MORE when they have a yeast issue. What supplements did you add when you started chelation? Guest guest
Your body is intelligent. Listen to it. If you don't feel like eating, then don't eat! It gives your body a time to rest and build immunity anyway. Eventually you'll get hungry again. Then you can eat. cha Best of health! Guest guest
I think this is the same thing i did by just going cold turkey & going straight on the diet & started the antifungals to soon & at first i seem ok & then at times i feel totally awful. I'm learning to the hard way that you can't rush healing even though i wish we all could. April > > I started on Bee's diet about 3 weeks ago. I was previously doing a no sugar diet for quite some time but not taking supplements, so it hasn't been too hard to transition. I have already worked up to my 6 TBS of coconut oil and very strict on diet (no cheating). I am working daily to keep my food ratios near to what they should be but for the last 4-5 days i am having trouble getting to my ratios because i have totally lost my appetite. Nothing smells good! When i sit down to eat it is a struggle to get anything down. Is this normal? Has anyone else had this problem with not being hungry after switching to this diet? > Also it seemed like all my symptoms were getting better everyday (was feeling very encouraged) but when i woke up this morning a lot of my symptoms seem worse again. Is that die off or am i doing something wrong? >
