Guest guest
Hi, This is Kwan. I am new in this group. My son is 4 years old and has SPD. I am not sure what else he is having. He never had any test or diagnosis. He only got OT eval for his OT only. But he has a lot of behavioral problems. He talks very well, so I am not sure if I work on his diet, how am I going to see a difference. So I am thinking to perform to metal-toxic test and yeast test to confirm he has any metal-toxic problem or yeast problem before I work on the diet. I just learned about I can order the yeast test and hair element test for metal toxic without a DAN doctor, as seeing a DAN doctor is too expensive for us. I found I can order the hair element test from DirectLab which doesn't need doctor prescription. My son's ped doesn't agree on what we are doing here so she refused to write us any doc note in buying the kits. I want to try doing yeast test as well. I want to ask where most of you order the test kits. And I found the great plains lab but they requires doctor notes as well. They offered OAT test and OAT with yeast. I don't know which one I should order. And then I see they direct people to myMedLab.com for those without doc note, but MyMedLab only has OAT test. Any suggestion here? Thanks kwan
