Guest guest
We had an elemental hair analysis done in January of this year. My son was high in aluminum, antimoney, bismuth, and tin. We also had a porphryins test that showed he was mildly mercury toxic. We're seeing a new doctor now who doesn't use the hair test because he feels it can be interpreted so differently. He thinks that metals aren't an issue since his results came back mild. Is it worth us doing a hair test with DDI? I know that he is metal toxic. He clearly has the signs. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Tara

So you cannot use the levels they provide, you can only read them as toxic or nontoxic. Your new dr is not informed, don't listen to him/her. Guest guest
Hi Tara, If the doc you're seeing doesn't believe metals are an issue but you do then it sounds like you'll be chelating on your own. How many mercury amalgam dental fillings does your son have? If any, they need to be removed using proper protocol before you can safely chelate. Please use Andy Cutler's protocol if/when you decide to chelate. S S What's More Accurate: Hair Test or Porphryins Test?
