I know I have shared this before, but I wanted to make a suggestion to the

group. I see there are some that either are experiencing flu or are worried

about it. I decided that this year my son will not go swimming with his class

as a part of physical/occupational therapy. It was a hard decision because he

really likes swimming, but as some of you know, he and I got very very ill last

year with croup after we swam in an indoor pool. I figured out it was the

chlorine because we had no other exposures and I did some research and found a

relationship between chlorine gases and croup.

So if you are trying to avoid things that are taxing on the immune system, I

would certainly avoid chlorine. An elderly lady told me that you can also get

chlorine out of your water by just filling up a glass or jug of it and sitting

it out overnight - the chlorine will evaporate out of it.
