Accoridng to their websites, 1 tsp of Carlsons CLO provides 400 IU vitamin D and 1 tsp of NN provides 1-20 IU vitamin D. That's a big difference ! anyone else notice this and have any idea why ? The vitamin A content is similiar. Guest guest
We use a syringe for our Fish Oil. One son takes it no problem, the other one we need to force him to take it. He used to take it and then stopped. He also has an aversion to eating utensils, so we don't think it's the taste. Same for brushing his teeth. Guest guest
What I do note here is that Nordic tests their oils for heavy metals independently and will furnish you with testing. Carlson's...there was some dilemma about the quality of their oil and whether or not it was metal free or pcb free. As a result of the lack or Carlson's willingness to furnish us with an independent metal assay test, we use either Nordic or Green Pasture's CLO only. -- In , " mersan1998 " <mersan1998@...> wrote: > > Hi, I was checking out the info on CLO for both of these companies. Guest guest
We take it like a religion, no offenses, just a phrase. My son takes his right from the spoon or syringe, but it is cinnamon flavor. Don't ask me, he won't take the stuff I think tastes good, but he eats this without a problem. Nordic has ones that kids can chew or swallow in strawberry. My older one will only take caps of CLO. She hates the liquid. Try finding flavored ones from Nordic or Green Pastures. They are more palatable usually. Barlean's also sells a clo that is lemon flavor that my daughter liked. We got a sample size one and she loved that one. > > Do many here give their kids CLO?
