Guest guest
I'm planning to start AC chelation for my dd within the next two weeks. Our DAN! doc wants to wait until she is more " stable " . I'm thinking about not using our DAN! doc and doing chelation on my own. However, I'm wondering how those who don't use a DAN! doc get lab work done? I'm primarily concerned about being able to keep up with thyroid testing for my daughter as she takes armour right now and I need to have someone monitor that. Our pediatrician will not be helpful, so she is out. I ordered hair testing on my own through DDI, but know that I need someone who can order tests at times. What do you do? Thanks! Guest guest
I agree...waiting until they are 'stable' may never happen. You can order labs through Direct Labs! You can get most everything there. Genova, Great Lakes Diagnostics and HealthCheckUSA can do other tests. You can get someone else to do the Armour dosing/testing. Many holistic doctors do this, so you don't need the DAN for that. Some DO's and older family MD's will use Armour. Endo's wont generally. We have not done any labs in regards to chelation. We only do thyroid labs on my daughter. No labs on my son. Three years into chelation and neither has had any problem that warrant labs work...or problems at all. I have a holistic doctor that does the thyroid labs for us. You can find someone in your area who uses Armour by calling your local pharmacies to ask who in the area prescribes it, you can also go to Armour Thyroids website and search providers. Holistic doctors use it. They won't use synthetics. > > > I'm planning to start AC chelation for my dd within the next two weeks. Our DAN! doc wants to wait until she is more " stable " . Guest guest
Thanks, Jan. My main concern is the thyroid, so I will look for a holistic provider and/or ask the pharmacy. That's a great idea. As far as other testing, I'm not too concerned. But, if I decided to do anything in the future, can I order through Direct Labs, Genova, Great Lakes, and HealthCheck USA without a physician order? Thanks! Judy > > > > > > I'm planning to start AC chelation for my dd within the next two weeks. Our DAN! doc wants to wait until she is more " stable " .
