Guest guest
What is needed to increase zinc absorption besides the usual magnesium, C, and all the standard supplements? My dd is 8, I've been giving her 150 mg of zinc (combo of zinc picolinate and zinc citrate split up into two doses) for close to two years (she weighs 53 lbs.) This is double what this group suggests, and yet her RBC test still shows her as deficient, the taste test shows her as deficient, and she is showing signs of zinc deficiency again (back to chewing holes in her sleeves and highly stressed.) She's clearly missing something that would help her absorb the zinc, but I can't figure out what it is. FYI: we've done 49 rounds of AC chelation, and that's been going fine, this is just another blip on the radar screen I'm trying to solve. Any suggestions?
