Guest guest
Thanks Diane - how are things with Sam? Do you still do the sauna's? Started the DMPS yet? Mandi in Dorset I just wanted to say that I have just learnt a huge amount (which is embarrasing really, I should understand this more) from your recent posts re dosing schedules, AC versus Dr Buttar etc. I have absorbed alot more in the last 30 minutes than I have for ages so thank you and keep those healthy debates going, it makes it easier for thickos like me to understand!! Guest guest
> Thanks Diane - how are things with Sam? Do you still do the sauna's? Started > the DMPS yet? > Hi Mandi, yes Dr Usman said continue sauna 3 x week so we will start again soon, really hard sometimes to fit it in with everything else but I will start properly again in the new year. Sam is doing pretty well at the moment but no great 'wow' factor yet!!! He has a much better receptive understanding, speech getting clearer and he really enjoys filling in words in songs, spends alot of time humming tunes! Very mischevious, I cannot really leave him alone for long as he is up to all sorts, particularly putting things in strange places, found a frozen chicken pie and boiled egg in my handbag recently!! Yes, building upto the DMPS, getting him onto folinic acid, lipoceutical glutathione, increasing MT promotor to 350 mg a day, he is more stimmy with all this so I have to go slow. have to go, I hear water running!!! take care, Di > Mandi in Dorset > > I just wanted to say that I have just learnt a huge amount (which is > embarrasing really, I should understand this more) from your recent > posts re dosing schedules, AC versus Dr Buttar etc. I have absorbed > alot more in the last 30 minutes than I have for ages so thank you > and keep those healthy debates going, it makes it easier for thickos > like me to understand!! When I switched with my son, we went from 45 drops every 48 hours to 10 drops every 8. It made him very tired. At forst I thought it was maybe not enough and went up to 15 drops - bad mistake, too much. We have worked backwards trying to find a happy place with no side effects and have settled for 6 drops per dose. Sam is over 85 pounds. Much easier to move up and cause chaos by starting too high. Chelation doesn;t have to be stressful, in fact I think it works much better when it isn't. Mandi x
Guest guest
30 per day....10 drops every 8 hrs (DMSA is every 4 hours is this a trick question????)....try 3 days on 4 days off rather then every other day.... Lillian fldofdrms@...fjennings@... TD DMPS Please help me with this question. If you use TD DMPS every other day and your child is 20 kg meaning he needs 30 drops every other day. Does this mean 30 drops every 4 hour or 30 drops a day? Mandy
Guest guest
Hi Mandy Very hard to say when you will see improvements -might be a couple of weeks, might be 2 years. We saw changes quite quickly. If I was starting now I'd probably start with 8 hourly at a low dose. But all the gains we've had have been with Buttar's 48 hourly protocol - just think they may have been quicker with 8 hourly. We've been chelating for nearly nine months (is that ALL, seems like years!) HTH Steph > > Thank you so much for your answers on TD DMPS. I will give the shot glass a try. > > One more question. Dr. Rashid is promoting the every other day protocol and applied only once during the on days, the evening. Is this correct? > Why is the 3 days on and 4 days off protocol better. And why every 8 hours? > > When are you suppose to see improvements on DMPS? > > Hope to learn from you, > > Mandy from the Netherlands >

Guest guest
Mandy, just in my opinion, this sounds like too much regression. If it were my son (and I've been there) I'd stop the TD-DMPS and re-evaluate. We stopped td-dmps last year because I didn't trust the regression that Dr Buttar says is okay. There are other chelators which are gentler on the body. Killing off the yeast which springs up is important, and so is ensuring that the detoxification pathways are working well so the toxins don't build up. The liver, gallbladder, and kidneys need a lot of support since they have so much horrible stuff to deal with. I like phosphatidylcholine and butyrate and LiverLife. Times when Cameron seems to be going backwards instead of forwards, we stop chelating and spend time instead on liver etc support. You don't want to be pulling more than your child's body can safely get out - redistribution can be long term trouble. Would you consider switching to something like NDF Plus with Liver Life or NCD Zeolites? There are other gentler options as well. Hope things get better! Guest guest
We used TD DMPS for about two months, I wish I could undo it. Our daughter had a horrific reaction to it; regressed horribly; inappropriate behaviors that were gone returned, and with a vengeance. Also, she became highly agitated and aggressive. We thought it might be yeast, treated for it, but we were never able to get her back to where she was before. I urge you to do a lot of research before you try it. There are other chelation approaches that you could consider, like ALA and DMSA. Aliza http://stores.ebay.com/Darwins-Linc
