Coconut oil is safe and contains caprylic acid for yeast.

I've also read people claim that coconut kefir works for yeast though I've never

tried it. You can probably find more info in the archives about this & how to

make it or where to buy it. One word of caution: I remember noting at least one

recipe that included whey, which is not good anyone who is high-sulfur.

Hope this helps,

Yes, I'd say use the unrefined, organic coconut oils, too. I buy coconut kefir

from our grocery store. I really like it.

Personally, I suspended much of any supplements/meds I was taking while

getting/being pregnant out of precaution. Didn't help much that I injected my

children with mercury and viruses as infants... but I was good while pregnant!

Restrict your diet and avoid simple carbs and sugars. Take a safe probiotic,

too.

What about Bragg's apple cider vinegar? Don't know how to use it to fight

yeast.

Good luck.

Have you done chelation yourself? Have you done a hair test? Do you have any

amalgam fillings? Have you ever had any amalgam fillings removed?

I wish we had looked at the answers to these questions before we got pregnant.

Hi everyone,

I am going to try to get pregnant soon and I am taking MANY herbal antifungals

(OLE, OOO, wormwood, pau d'arco) that I have read are not safe during pregnancy.

I know I will struggle with yeast if I have to stop those. I'm not even sure if

caprylic acid is safe.

GSE has not been my favorite and I'm not sure garlic will be enough.

Anyone been through pregnancy and found effective antifungals?

Thanks!!!

Hi everyone,

thanks for the responses. Hi TJ, I have not done chelation myself or a hair

test. I did have 8 amalgams removed about 1 year ago with a safe dentist and

did my daughter's DAN dr's protocol along with it--vits, minerals, glutathione,

chlorella, etc.

I would really like to do ALA chelation on myself prior to getting pregnant but

I am 40 and 1/2 and I think by the time I get through enough of it and wait long

enough after that I may not be able to get pregnant due to age.

I know I am taking a risk with the pregnancy but I guess I feel I've done my

best in the allotted time--very strict SCD/GAPS diet, amalgam removal, vitamins,

antifungals. Also did a lot of homeopathy that helped.

I used to be on Paxil and now I am off it due to having done all the above, I've

been on an antidepressant for over 20 years!!!! I can't believe I got off it.

I second the coconut oil, it has been great protection for us and is a tasty

substitute for butter or shortening on anything/in any recipe.

***I would be careful about chelation prior to pregnancy without a long waiting

period afterwards. I got pregnant a few months after doing some DMSA

detoxification (AC protocol). But it was only about round 4 or 5 and I still

had lots of toxins in me as I had previously been working in an office

contaminated by broken fluorescent bulbs. When I started this journey that

child had " remarkable " mercury toxicity according to his urinary porphyrin test.

As TJ says hindsight is 20/20...

You need at least 18 months post removal for blood levels to be low enough to

reduce risks to the fetus. And with the protocols you listed...you aren't

mercury free.

I realize your time is limited and this is personal choice. But be known there

is a risk.

Any thoughts on doing a hair test just to see prior to conception??

At least you'd know if it looks like mercury is still an issue for you or not.

Do what you can by following a high nutrient diet like Weston Price that helps

protect the fetus and foster good brain development. And don't vaccinate the

baby or yourself at all.

Currently working with a mom who got pregnant post amalgam removal...too soon,

and her son tested mercury toxic at 18 months, he has had no vaccines either. So

it's mother mercury.

18 months after you stop chelation is the long wait.

Take Omega's, EFA's and antoxidants during pregnancy. Eat really healthy, no

vaccines. And don't vaccinate the baby at all. This will all increase the

chances of having a healthy baby.

*** That's probably fine. I live in a polluted place and used to eat lots of

sushi. And I used contact lens solutions with Thimerosal for many years. At

least I don't have amalgams, but my mom did...

Our 10-year-old has autism. We thought we were " safe " with our next being a

girl. Did not vaccinate her at all (not even vit. k in the hospital). Nursed

until 18 months. Fed mostly organic baby food and did not start her on solids

until about 8 months. She still became mercury toxic (among other things) and

developed autism. The cost of biomedical alone I wish we would have waited but I

did not know everything about amalgams (although it was in the back of my mind).

I know it is hard to wait but I would make sure you are not " toxic " before you

get pregnant.
