Guest guest
My 2 yr old may have chicken pox and I'm wondering how my older two, whom I foolishly vaccinated against CP 3 yrs ago, will fare while in contact with the virus. I have friends whose vaccinated children have caught shingles as a result of coming into contact with the CP virus, and I certainly don't want that to happen! Ideally, the older two will get CP and get natural immunity. Is there anything I can or should do for my older two? My little one has a few suspect spots today so if it's CP, the older kids have been exposed to the virus for a few days now. And for my 2 yr old, is it recommended that we give any antivirals for CP to lessen the severity of it? What antivirals are recommended for this if any? Thanks,
