Guest guest
You all might find it worth reading the articles of research at this link. For many years some researchers have felt that MS is caused by certain types of infections. Several on this list have mentioned Lyme disease (which included borrelia and a few other infections carried by ticks.) But there are other infections including some which you can catch like you catch a cold. It may not be so important to get Lyme testing done as it would be to make the leap and assume MS is caused by some infection that can be treated with appropriate antibiotics and other treatments including LDN. I'm new here an don't know a lot about LDN and how it works yet, but I have a few years, sad to say, dealing with these infections. Here is the link, so I can shut up now. <grin> http://www.cpnhelp.org/ "If you have Multiple Sclerosis- Skip the above and first read through Wheldon's wonderful website on treating MS through an empirical protocol to treat Chlamydia pnemoniae. It is specifically geared to present the case for this in MS, and is very cogently layed out. Come to think of it, you should read through his site even if you are looking to treat Chlamydia pneumoniae for diseases other than MS." a

Guest guest
I always found this interesting regarding MS and bacteria: She identified two different species of L-form bacteria in patients with Parkinson’s Disease. The L- form species of Borrellia burgdoferi was detected in patients with Lyme disease. She cultured serum from forty patients with multiple sclerosis and found a different species of the borrelia L-form present in her samples. Soon after, she detected Chlamydia pneumonia in the blood of patients who had suffered a pulmonary thrombosis. She also found bacteria that resembled M. tuberculosis in the blood of patients with the lung disease sarcoidosis. Full article http://bacteriality.com/2007/08/18/history/ If it is bacterial, then LDN should help the immune system keep it down.
