Andy,

My son has a lot of gut dysbiosis and is constantly battling parasites or yeast

or bacteria.  We've taken a little break from chelation and I plan to start him

up again soon b/c I don't want to lose anymore time.  Please let me know which

protocol/rounds you recommend for someone with guts issues:

3 days on/11 days off (what we were doing) -- to give the body a longer time to

heal between rounds, but will take longer in the long run

3 days on/4 days off -- to get this the hell over with quicker in the long run

longer than 3 days on/at least as many days off -- maybe if the rounds are

longer it will get more metals out quicker in the long run

I greatly appreciate any insight you can offer.  I just want to get the mercury

and lead out of his little body as soon as possible, while minimizing damage to

the gut as much as possible too.

Thanks!

Elyse, my son's yeast got much better when I added Amla to his chelator capsules

and put him on a diet very low in sweets. If his gut is already really bad,

magnesium, flaxseed oil, B vitamins are very important. In my experience, the

synthetics (B vitamins and ascorbic acid) were hard on my son's stomach. When

we went to food-based, he tolerated them better. I found Dailyfoods Whole Food

Vit B Complex and Amla and that was my B complex and Vit C substitute. We are

still using them because I like them so much.

Juicing may also help the gut heal. If you are still having trouble after

trying everything, look into changing his diet. Several foods caused yeast for

my son because he wasn't digesting them properly or he was sensitive to

them...look at the common allergens: gluten, dairy, soy, MSG, chocolate, corn,

etc. Rotation diet could help determine if he is having a problem with

something.
