Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I have been a lurker for a bit. I have a 3.5 year old son who is diagnosed with severe apraxia and PDD-NOS. He has done fairly well on the GFCF diet and vitamins/supplements (CLO, ProEFA, TMG, GSE, probiotics, etc.). He is very high in aluminum and mercury. In fact, based on some research I've done and his DAN! doctor, it looks like the DTaP vac was part of the issue (large head from two months through nine months - 95th percentile). He is probably now in the 75% percentile and of course, the high aluminum. Before we start to chelate, I am considering seeing a homeopath and a NAET doctor. My son is the pickiest eater ever, and I have tried everything. He will eat either waffles or toast for breakfast, pb & J for lunch, and pasta for dinner with babyfood for sauce. He does take a compounded multi-vitamin. Then he will eat tons of snacks - GFCF. He had some granola for a snack today, and he had some sort of reaction because his ears were so red and he was bouncing off the walls! Any suggestions on how to go about this? Would a NAET doctor help? I am just so worried about his diet. Oh, and he has those dark circles under his eyes. Any advice/guidance is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
