We use zinc cream, with good results - daughter refuses this supp, all along.

Problems with zinc - would look into things like, cadmium (lead), copper tox's.

Look into things that would be supportive of those ranges of toxicities & see if

it helps.

Maybe trying taking zinc w/vit E ,kinda like the taking Vit E with fish oil

idea. (Which we do - if you take fish oil at my house, you also take a vit E,

usually of the 2-400iu range. regardless of how many times in a day that might

be.)

I do know that we (me & my older four kids) have always taken zinc & vit E

together. For no real apparent reason, but this post reminded me - kinda on my

list of things to do, to find out why this might be, but since is not a

" problem, " haven't actually gotten to it.

side note....I did " rounds " of zinc, about 3 years ago...took highish amounts

for 3 or 4 days in a row, every other week or so. During the " round, " I would

get busy, busy, busy & rather frantic, jabber to beat all, and other related

stuff...not fun, BUT totally worth the results for me...I know (now) that there

are easier ways to do this type of thing - found related info, after was done

with it all...I was working with an excess copper tangent at that time, which

may or may not be the " real " underlying and/or contributing issue...I stopped

doing " zinc rounds " when I could not " provoke " these symptoms by upping my zinc.

Maybe about six months or so of doing this.

increasing zinc in the past).
