Guest guest
Doing the 8 hourly challenge test is a bad idea, it can potentially cause more damage. Follow the AC protocol, low dose and every 4 hourly day and night. Go to the 'File' Section and read AC protocol. My son's urine test also showed nothing much was coming out, but his behaviour improved. You should use his behaviour as a gauge rather than relying too much on urine test. It's the little that come out (within range) over a period of time that really helps in the recovery process. Chelation following the AC protocol is not expensive. You only need a few supplements ie Zn, Mg, vit. C and E (and sometime vit plus the chelators (dmsa or/and ala) to get started. Go to moria's site and search for 'chelation on a budget' hope this helps Priscilla On Sun, Jul 26, 2009 at 7:19 PM, stephanieweeks@... < stephanieweeks@...> wrote: > > > Hi! > > I just joined this group a week ago and have already learned so much (I > have been a member of chelatingkids2). Guest guest
Thanks, Priscilla - that's exactly the type of answer I was looking for. What do you mean by 'in range'? > > > > > > > Hi! > > > > I just joined this group a week ago and have already learned so much (I > > have been a member of chelatingkids2). Guest guest
For urine challenge test, the DAN would give high dose dmsa (or other chelators) to 'challenge' the metals to come out..I didn't use the high dose prescribed as it would be hard on the body. So when I use the dosage following AC protocol ie starting dose of 1/8mg dmsa per lb of body weight, all i got from the urine results is 'within range'..meaning, no elevated metals were coming out, some were coming out but within the 'normal range'. My DAN then concluded that 'nothing much' was coming out...he suggested to increase the dose which I refused knowing what harm it can cause. However, after that weekend, i noted improvement to my son's behaviour..so I continued to chelate following the AC protocol and not bothered with any further testing...week after week i noticed improvement to my child (we have done 9 rounds) which matters more than what a test report say. Go thro' the AC protocol in the file section and follow the protocol properly, don't be pressured by your DAN to do any further challenge or testing, you will be fine.
