Hey !

So there is no problem with ordering from the company itself as long as I

mention Dr. McCandless?

Have you done the High Dose Vitamin A with ? How did he do with it?

Thanks for the help!

Hey Dana,

I recall that it helped my son's motor skills in the way that he

became more " in tuned " to his surroundings and paid attention more to

what he was doing (watching the ball so he could catch it, being able

to pour his own juice because he was focused on what he was doing)

That was also about the time he finally stopped the " claw hand " and

learned to point at specific objects with one finger instead of with

his whole hand. Motor skills is still an issue that we are dealing

with though, and I've recently started him on choline/piracetam to

see if that helps.

As for how Dylan is doing....well, he seems to be catching up on his

development at a rapid pace! He's a regular little parrot, repeating

everything he hears and his pronunciation is improving as well. I

still can hardly believe he talks now! He is pretty good in stores

(as much as a 5 year old can be!) and he just had his 5th birthday

and it was the first time he really understood what was going on, the

meaning of the day, and what to expect (cake, presents, attention).

His pretend play has taken off. As for socialization he is still shy

but when he gets comfortable with someone he interacts quite well.

Eye contact can still be an issue and he is having a hard time

learning to grasp a pencil correctly which confuses me cause the kid

can play " Operation " and is a whiz with the tweezers. Something about

grasping a pencil to write just isn't getting through yet, but we'll

work on it more. Overall, I'm amazed at his progress and I'm

beginning to think he'll be fine.

How are your boys?
