Guest guest
, I'm glad you asked the question about meanness, as I was thinking of asking too. We're using diet and modifilan (kombu seaweed) to pull out metals, and I'm seeing meanness (understatement, and nothing new) as well as a lot of spaciness. Is this typical when heavy metals move? Guest guest
on the 11th round of ALA, if your child still got really mean. I think I read that when doing a round, your child has the really bad behavour that was the reason you started chelation. Would this still be the case on round 11? Please tell me your experiences. Guest guest
I am only giving 12mg of the ALA. She weighs 60 lbs. The last round I did only 8mg., and she wasnt this mean. I wonder if I should go back down again. Is it OK to go down in the middle of the round? On Nov 6, 2008, at 3:59 PM, Reynolds wrote: > We've never had any of these sorts of issues with chelation. Guest guest
We've never had any of these sorts of issues with chelation. We started low and built up over time. We also use DMSA as well as ALA, which often makes things go smoother. We also give lots of antioxidants, B vitamins, magnesium to help (as per Andy's recommendations in amalgam illness). For my daughter chelation seems like water off a ducks back. Very easy. Arias wrote: > > on the 11th round of ALA, if your child still got really mean. Guest guest
The B vitamins and the magnesium are in the Super Nu Thera that I am giving. Guest guest
I would go back down to the 8mg and stay there for a bit - we had go down to 6.25 ala a few rounds ago because the ala was too high and was making my little guy sick. Guest guest
My children have short tempers the first day and a half after we start cycles. I once posted on here about my older son continuing to be angry off round and someone told me I should give adrenal cortex extract and that helped quite a bit. I also gave a little lithium orotate because my other son had needed it (per hair test results). > > on the 11th round of ALA, if your child still got really mean. Guest guest
yes, but some people can't take DMSA and have chelated with ALA only. Truthfully I am considering some ala only for my family, and if we did, we would start very very low, like 5 or 6mgs.
Guest guest
You should stay at 8mg until you no longer see any gains. Then consider raising it IF she tolerates it, if you see bad side effects, go back down again. We did not raise our initial dose for over a year. There was no need to. If the lower dose is working, and she's tolerating it, stay with it. And yes, you can reduce it in the middle if they are reacting badly to the new dose. We have done this. -- In , Arias <thinkingheads@...> wrote: > > I am only giving 12mg of the ALA. She weighs 60 lbs. The last round I > did only 8mg., and she wasnt this mean. Guest guest
" We also use DMSA as well as ALA, which often makes things go smoother. " For some, , and then some cannot tolerate DMSA, like my son. We did see lasting gains from the first round though...that said, I still wouldn't dare try it again. I will happily do ALA alone now. > > > > on the 11th round of ALA, if your child still got really mean. Guest guest
You would notice (or maybe you didn't) that I used the word " often " and did not use the word " always " . wrote: > > " We also use DMSA as well as ALA, which often makes things go > smoother.
