Your intestinal distress could easily be caused by your new magnesium

supplimentation.

Magnesium sulfate (epsom salts) is an extremely common laxative. And other

forms of magnesium with various brand names are also sold as laxatives.

So, your supplementation is the likely cause of the distress.

I know that magnesium must be given with certain supplements for good

absorption of the supplements and it should be avaoided with certain

other supplements but I cant remember the combinations. Can anyone

point them out!

At my house, magnesium was required for proper absorption of fats,

selenium, biotin, and calcium.

Taking the magnesium citrate I recommend has worked well for everyone on my

program who are getting healthy, so it isn't necessary to get it by any other

means.

If it is readily absorbed then how can a person maintain an equal level to

calcium unless they are very cautious about the amount rubbed into the skin, and

I wouldn't know how much of it relates to taking 300 mg twice a day by mouth

that I recommend.

Remember " more is not better " since taking one nutrient in higher levels throws

off the balance of many other nutrients.
