Guest guest
Doing some more research on ALA. Found this on the Yasko site. Is this relevant? Does it raise any safety concerns for kis chelating with ALA? Thanks, Beth From Yasko: " Alpha lipoic acid can reduce cytochromeP450 reductase activity (Dudka, ls of Nutrition Vol 50, 2006) so only limited ALA support may be considered for those with MTRR mutations " . Most ASD kids (the figure I have seen is 86%) have fast phase I liver so no, it would not pose a risk. There is some mention of this in Andy's book " Amalgam Illness " as to what clues to look for in figuring out if you are fast or slow phase I and II.
