Doing some more research on ALA. Found this on the Yasko site.

Is this relevant? Does it raise any safety concerns for kis chelating

with ALA?

Thanks,

Beth

From Yasko:

" Alpha lipoic acid can reduce cytochromeP450 reductase activity (Dudka,

ls of Nutrition Vol 50, 2006) so only limited ALA support may be

considered for those with MTRR mutations " .

I found the abstract online:

===>Hi Beth,

I'll take a stab at this. Most ASD kids (the figure I have seen is 86%)

have fast phase I liver so no, it would not pose a risk.

There is some mention of this in Andy's book " Amalgam Illness " as to what

clues to look for in figuring out if you are fast or slow phase I and II.

Thanks,

Beth
