I had 10 straight hours of pitocin, regulary at 8, never below 2 and often up to 12. Now I know why I had the complications I did! I just thank God we're both ok! Thanks for this info! Guest guest
i'm trying to gather up my list of mercury sources as I'm doing a history for a new doc we'll be seeing in a few weeks. how did I never realize that pitocin was a source? How does it rank among the other sources...i can't seem to find that info anywhere. but I was induced with ryan. started at 7:00 am and the kid wasn't born until almost 11:00 pm. i feel like there was a lot of pitocin involved because contractions didn't even start getting strong until 11 hours in. sigh. Thanks, Kari
Guest guest
Both my boys were born this way, the first one the labor was very long like yours. I read about pitocin and Autism and it is pretty scary. One clinic saying that 60% of all their Autistic patients were delivered using pitocin. BUT, as it's been said, now we need to focus on getting our kids better. This information is good to know to pass on to people that are still getting pregnant and having kids. Guest guest
Sounds like what happened to me in my birth stories. With my first who has pdd adhd I was induced with pitocin and his fr dropped to 39 we almost lost him and me and he was a face up dry birth so dry they had to pour fluid in me so I could push him. Plus she did not believe in a epidural so I felt everything we both almost died. With my 2nd my dd who has mod autism my fluid again was low so they induced me and her birth went pretty good. I was given a epi with her but the same pitocin and she ripped me so bad I lost 1000 cc's of blood.
