Guest guest
Absolutely. Those two often go together. Many kids see an increase in symptoms when they get into early puberty and testosterone levels rise. No, I do not think that homeopathy and metals clearing are opposites; many people do them together. There is a group in the UK that does biomedical interventions. Have you found them yet? Guest guest
Nina, How long have you lived in Scotland? Have your child's problems due to the lower exposure to sun in Scotland so maybe Vitamin D supplementation is in order Also have you checked thyroid? There is NO iodized salt in the UK which is strange seeing that all the other westernized countries have this. I know there is a problem with iodine in Scotland as I have a study showing 40% of pregnant women sampled living there were deficient. You need iodine and selenium for good thyroid function. The British had an adequate supply of selenium untl the 1950s when selenium-laden Canadian wheat was ceased. As the soil hasn't enough selenium in the UK, people have really had to specifically look for selenium enriched foods. One of the best sources is Brazil nuts , better purchased still in their shells as Se oxidizes when exposed to the air. jromkema schrieb: > > Absolutely. Guest guest
Did he have Streph infections anytime in the past? antibodies to strep can be an issue with OCD. ===================== Posted through Grouply, the better way to access your like this one. http://www.grouply.com/?code=post
Guest guest
I meant to say that the regular salt is NOT iodized. You have to specifically look for the iodized form. > > From: priscillasohsh <priscillasohsh@ gmail.com > <mailto:priscillaso hsh%40gmail. com>> > Subject: [ ] black sesame seed > > <mailto:Autism- Mercury%40g roups.com> > Date: Sunday, March 1, 2009, 9:51 PM > > Is black sesame seed powder a problematic food for sensitive kids? Guest guest
Nina, I would buy kelp tablets for the iodine and selenium tabs for selenium. Buy celtic sea salt for the extra minerals plus iodine. I'm not surprised everyone's depressed up in Scotland. The UK government has outlawed the sun! so everyone avoids it and then when winter comes, everyone is down in the mouth. There is less exposure to good UVB due to the Sotlan'ds more northerly latitude. You can give your child cod liver oil or maybe buy a UVB lamp so the entire family gets a bit of sun at home. You will all be feeling a lot better. Epsom salts baths are great way to get magnesium and sulphate. A study on people with autism showed they had problems coverting to sulphate. Sulphate neutralizes many endogenous toxins as well as recycling neurotransmitters. It also gives the mucusy texture to the gut. There is a long list of benefits....... Nina, do you know about the Autism Biomedical Europe list. Come and join us as there are people from Scotland on that list you could maybe meet up with. We have a conference in south England mid March you could come to and get some moral support. With OCD, try inositol. There is often a strep element to OCD and many find medium chain fatty acids works well for this. Lauricidin is a good product with this in. duan Ni schrieb: > > Dear : > > Thanks a lot for your kind response. > > I have brought epsom salt to give him bath , what kind of salt could > have iodized form ? > > Do you know what kind of supplement are iodine and selenium ? > > We have been in Scotland for 4 and half years, here really lots of > people get depressive due to long dark time in winter and lack of > sunshine ,too much raining days. > > Now my son everyday talk to back to China ( we came from China) .He is > very anxiety and depressive as well, He said living here will become no > space .Yesterday He run out of school to wish to go to China > immediately.
