Guest guest
Hi Char I have never heard of that so I looked it up. Found this link you might want to read. http://www.nutrasanus.com/malic-acid.html Had an interesting study that they talked about on treating pain. Have they ever checked him for RSD?? Figure they did since it sounds like they checked for almost everything but just a thought as the symtoms sound similar. Guest guest
No, I don't know the half-life, but I am glad you are asking because we are thinking about starting this too, for aluminum right? > > Does anyone know the half-life of Malic Acid and is anyone familiar > with any Malic Acid chelating protocols? > Thanks! >
Guest guest
Yes malic acid has been known to remove aluminum from the body. However I have read at least one study that showed that when the malic acid was used, it cause a further concentration of aluminum in organs (just like the ALA studies showed as problems when ALA is not used as per its half life). I have not been able to locate a study that reveals the half life of malic acid. wrote: > > No, I don't know the half-life, but I am glad you are asking because we > are thinking about starting this too, for aluminum right? > > > > > > Does anyone know the half-life of Malic Acid and is anyone familiar > > with any Malic Acid chelating protocols? > > Thanks! > > > >
Guest guest
I don't know the half life, but I've been using it as " filler " in with my ALA or ALA/DMSA. Guest guest
I am not sure of how you are using it...but we use magnesium malate...which is magnesium and malic acid combines and it is absolutely wonderful!!! I have fibromyalgia and this has been the key to life again for me...I have been sooooooooooo much better and the kids seem to absorb it better than any other form we have used. I know that it is not a chelator per se...but I do believe that it works in the kreb cycle...long time since I looked this one up...I just know that it works....and we did try to use another form....and it was amazing what it was doing....the pain was back for me...and the kids had a lot more mag issues....and it is reasonably priced. Check out Source Naturals Magnesium Malate.
