Guest guest
Hi, I am gearing up to add ALA to my two sons' chelation schedule (we've been using DMSA for 2 years, with good results). The ALA dosing schedule intimidates me! I'm so used to dosing DMSA every 4 hours (8 hours overnight), and we're all accustomed to the boys' having to drink 32 oz. liquid with each DMSA dose. Here's my question: How much liquid must one drink with each ALA dose? My boys are 8 and 10 years old and in public school. While I can imagine dosing them every 3 hours (including overnight) with just enough liquid to wash down the tablet or capsule, I cannot imagine keeping them awake long enough to down 32 oz. We'd all be completely miserable and they'd be in no shape for the challenges of school come Monday morning. Thanks in advance for your advice.
