Guest guest
Those of you having trouble with OJ, try the low acid kind. It's smooth and doesn't give you heartburn or a burning sensation in your stomach. in SC 2/22/02 288/
Guest guest
The low acid orange juice is great. It is the only kind I buy. Guest guest
Orange juice is high-glycemic (sugar water). I blend my protein sup with an orange (fiber/low glycemic), water, and a couple packets of splenda. Becky > I bought a new type of protien shake that is has no carbs. Guest guest
I haven't had any problems with orange juice causing spasms, but it does irritate my 'e'. But I never drink it without food. Drinking orange juice and then brushing my teeth with a fluoridated toothpaste is a real 'e' irritant. Jeff > > Do any of you have trouble with Orange Juice causing or helping to > cause spasms? Guest guest
Hi , Yes, it does cause spasms with me. Most of the time anyways. Orange juice and (Canadian J ) Iced Tea are things I try to avoid! I’m assuming its because its citrusy. in BC Orange Juice Do any of you have trouble with Orange Juice causing or helping to cause spasms? Do you notice it more when you drink it alone or when you eat something with it? I know it has a high acid content and we probably shouldn't be drinking it on an empty stomach. I just wanted to do a mini-poll. Thanks!

Guest guest
A while ago, I thought that I was able to drink orange juice again. I drank 1-2 glasses each day. The result was very strange. When I have strong cramps in the E, I also get tooth pain (maybe some nerves go up there?). However, after a month of orange juice I hade extreme tooth pain without cramps. I even went to a dentist, but my teeth was fine. No I drink it only rarely and in small amounts. Lars. > > Do any of you have trouble with Orange Juice causing or helping to > cause spasms? Guest guest
OJ was the 1st " food " to be eliminated in my diet, prior to being diagnosed with " A. " Even though I'm 7 months post surgery, I still find it better to avoid it and I also go light on spaghetti sauce for the same reasoning.
