Guest guest
I want to use this florastore that I have. From what I am reading... it is a good yeast. And it is a probiotic. Not sure if its a bacterial probiotic, but I am also not sure if she needs a bacterail probiotic. How do you firure out what probiotic is right for you child. My dd was on Diflucan for 4 months and Fagyl for 10 days. I need some advice

Guest guest
, Most people seem to use trials with different probiotics/antifungal products to see what works best for their kids. Lots of people have found that SB works really well. It works by a different method than supplementing with good bacteria and most people have found that a multipronged approach to treating gut dysbiosis is what works best. When I use SB, I rotate it in for a month and then stop. When you stop with the SB, it leaves the gut. While it is doing that, I up my dose of healthy bacteria to fill those spaces with other bacteria rather than taking the chance that pathogenic yeast or bacteria move in. I would not rely on SB alone, esp if my child had been on Rx antifungals and antibiotics. You'll need the good bacteria too, either in probiotics capsules or in food sources (cultured foods). IME, using both simultaneously had the best results. Anita > > I want to use this florastore that I have. From what I am reading... > it is a good yeast. And it is a probiotic.
