Yes, when I first used chinese herbs it was a few years ago, when I

first was exploring alternative/natural health. Since then, with all

the issues with China (lead toys, melamine, etc) and what I've

learned about some supplements being high in contaminants, I just

feel MORE comfortable with a small local American company, committed

to organic, non GMO herbs.

While I thought the chinese herbs helped, I find that following the

advice of a ND or Master herbalist who really understands the science

behind herbal medicine is more effective for us.

Only you can research what herbs you were given, their source, and

decide. If you trust you acupuncturist and his supplier of herbs then

you should be fine. Like anything else, don't follow blindly - do

your own research to decide if something is right for YOU or your

child. If it were me, I would use muscle testing, as well.
