Guest guest
Or anyone who would be so kind as to offer suggestions. I am a mon of 3 kids (ages 6,3,2). One child who has delays and going through evaluations. All have allergies and all kinds of sensitivities. The question is really about me so that I can then help my kids. I have been progressively been in failing health for about 10 years with no diagnosis except for ALL pituitary hormones very low. I thought when I received Andy's book, GREAT.. I have the answer. Mercury poisin. I had a mouth full of silver fillings and when I was younger I had eczema and my parents rubbed merchachrome on the eczema marks all over my body for 4 straight years (Oh boy).... So I thought after taking many years of Alpha Lpoic acid for general health for ab I figured the mercury had settled in the brain and my children are probably suffering from my high levels while pregnant with them. Okay, So I had the fillings removed and I had a hair test about 2 months after the removal (not breastfeeding). But, If I have read my hair test right I have no heavy metal problems. I see adrenal and thyroid stuff. QUESTION: Any comments on the hair test. Did I read the test right? Does it really look unlikely for heavy metal poison? I am also curious about the lithium, I am like a crazy woman, with no toleration for stress. And each time I try to supplement the low Maganese I feel sicker. Thank you to anyone who reads and I am truly grateful to anyone who tries to help. I am a female who is 39 years old and I have posted my hair results in the file section under... Guest guest
. My daughters lithium was similar to yours. (Check out Skyar Arias Folder). She has been on the lithium just over a week, and I see great results. Good Luck! Guest guest
It either has 11 or 12 in he middle band so it is either suspiciously close or does acutall satisfy a rule as given in my book Hair Test Interpretation: Finding Hidden Toxicities. Otherwise yes a big adrenal stress sign, and some adrenal cortex ought to help a lot. That's an over the counter nutritional supplement. Here's a site about adreneal stuff: http://www.adrenalfatigue.org/ I have used the supplements they sell, but can't say if they are better than other programs. I've also read the book there. (Adrenal Fatigue: The 21st Century Stress Syndrome by Dr. L. ) And for that matter, I've heard the author speaking..... The thing I want to mention that he said is that if someone has thyroid AND adrenal problems he always wants to treat the adrenal FIRST because doing so will either greatly lessen or eliminate the thyroid problems (in most cases etc). So, you might want to work on adrenal supplements for a while before testing thyroid levels -- or test them AGAIN after a few months on adrenal stuff. I think there was some other adrenal website mentioned here a few weeks ago, but I may be confusing this with some other list? > > QUESTION: Any comments on the hair test. Low on a hair test doesn't necessrily mean deficiency. How's that for a vague statement? (It is meant to be!) > > > > Thank you to anyone who reads and I am truly grateful to anyone who > > tries to help. > > best wishes to you -- your situation sounds difficult and I applaud you for trying to work on your own health stuff in spite of having had these issues a long time, and in spite of also having the kids to worry about. FWIW I agree with you that helping yourself will help you help them -- especially with your willingness to persist and keep investigating. Sometimes it takes a lot of persistence -- hard when we are tired! -- so good for you! Moria
