What if your local pediatrician had to approve your child's DAN! doc,

neurologist, immunologist, gastroenterologist, ABA provider, and

speech therapist even if you have traditional or PPO insurance rather

than an HMO? Would you accept this if it came with a federal

mandate for insurance coverage for ABA, speech, and OT?

This is a very real possibility if the " Autism Treatment Acceleration

Act " is passed with draft language that requires mandatory

participation in a " medical home model " for treatment.
