For me, Ralph Nader's views on medicine/healthcare and his relentless pursuit of big pharma/business (especially mercury-generating coal-burning power plants which no doubt contribute to the autism rate) through his organization Public Citizen are exemplary. There _is_ choice here. One is a member of the Trilateral Commission the other is old school. Either way, there will be problems, since laws have already been changed by Bush allowing him to override congress on anything he wishes. Unless the new president rescinds this legislation....we will continue to become less and less free. A " lost " vote is one that perpetuates a system you no longer believe in, or see as fundamentally flawed. A Nader vote is an " issue " vote, just like votes for the Sufferage Party ultimately lead to women getting the right to vote. Yes, it takes time to change a two-party system. But we HAVE to start, and make the US a civilized country in its political system, which it is no longer.
