But what good will vaccine choice do if McCain's going to build a coal-fired

power plant (which spew mercury) in your backyard and send your kid to war where

the armed services will pump him or her full of mystery vaccines?

===>Good ?, hard choice but if these are the only choices, I'll take my chance

with the power plants in lieu of having the thimerosol/aluminum/viruses injected

*directly* into her veins.

I'm a registered Independent, I dislike both parties for different reasons,

but especially abhor the Republicans stance on their liberality with big

business, shameful. My point being I don't like where the vaccine choice makes

me go.

I did notice the dichotomy between my post on McCain's giving parents vax

choice and the recent decision of the Bush administration to not limit factories

ability to put out lead, such is the world we have.

I would respectfully suggest that those of us not happy with the

Democratic or Republican choices consider the third-party candidate

that most closely mirrors their views.

For me, Ralph Nader's views on medicine/healthcare and his relentless

pursuit of big pharma/business (especially mercury-generating

coal-burning power plants which no doubt contribute to the autism

rate) through his organization Public Citizen are exemplary.

There _is_ choice here. Just a thought.

Please tell me what book you read written by Obama that states that?  I have

read all of his books and I have not seen that statement.

Please, don't spread things like that.  You sound like the people that yell at

the Palin rallies!

They are both dangerous and neither one is going to do what this

country needs. No point in arguing about it here. One is a member of

the Trilateral Commission the other is old school. Either way, there

will be problems, since laws have already been changed by Bush

allowing him to override congress on anything he wishes. Unless the

new president rescinds this legislation....we will continue to become

less and less free. Which means more and more toxins, vaccines and

whatever else Big Company wants.

That's very good : obamanation. Only the second laugh I've had in

this election process. The first was Obama's new look, a picture of Obama

with Palin's hairdo and glasses. They actually looked alike.

Makes the words on the dollar bill more important than ever: In God We Trust.

The only " change " when Obama gets elected will be what's left in your pocket!

Not if you don't think he is as bad or worse than the other two - which

our family has comically dubbed McPain and Obombus (with a bit of help

from our mercury toxic kids). No vote is lost unless you voted for

someone you can't in good conscience support.

Rhonda,

>...Nader is a lost vote...

Sorry you are choosing to perpetuate that myth.

A " lost " vote is one that perpetuates a system you no longer believe

in, or see as fundamentally flawed. A Nader vote is an " issue " vote,

just like votes for the Sufferage Party ultimately lead to women

getting the right to vote.

Yes, it takes time to change a two-party system. But we HAVE to

start, and make the US a civilized country in its political system,

which it is no longer.

Please consider thinking outside the immediate-gratification box.
