Guest guest
I hope it's okay to comment on this. I don't know much about the zeolite, the volcanic ash idea strikes me as questionable, but maybe not, I do use clay (have also used ash, but not sure of any value). But as a biologist with a soils specialty, I have to say that the alumino-silicate structure in such minerals would be absolutely safe. The aluminum and silicate form an extremely stable crystalline structure that would not permit either to be absorbed or toxic, at least to any meaningful degree. My interest in the clay is its selective absorption properties. As to any other claims about zeolite, I'd have no opinion, I've not looked into it. There's a lot of hype and confusion on the planet. I guess that would be similar to ingesting charcoal. great for the gut, not for the metals. I think there is an assay done by DDI on zeolites in the files of A-M that details the contents. I was not impressed myself with the metals in it. Zeolites are the aluminosilicate. This makes them a source of aluminum. http://en.wikipedia .org/wiki/ Zeolite > > > > > > ----- Original Message ----- > > From: mywonderbaby > > > > > > > > Is it for detox ? Guest guest
not volcanic ash - pretty much crushed stone (oversimplified, but still true)...many many kinds of " zeolites " out there, with many various applications...including the newer promotion of it as a " health supplement. " I personally have no opinion either way on its benefits, just would note it is not ash, and it is not a chelator. wishing all the best, elizabeth > > > > > > > > > ----- Original Message ----- > > > From: mywonderbaby > > > > > > > > > > > > Is it for detox ?
