She has been on Diflucan for 2 month aprox.

I am not sure if the yeast is gone, because she got a taste of some

pasta today and went really wild. Doesn't this sound like yeast?

She has biotin in the Super Nu Thera she is taking. Biotin is for

yeast too, right? We don't want to give her more for yeast though,

correct? Do you do a stool test for yeast? I didn't have a prior test

done, since I was told that they aren't accurate.

She had a blood test for candida and it came back " o " ...

Is the stood test different?

It's funny you mentioned bacteria. Sometimes I wonder if bacteria

isn't the bigger problem. We did a fructose test once and the GI

doctor said he never saw fructose run through anyone so quickly.

After she drank the fructose drink, she was running out into the

street. She was out of control. He thought it may be bacteria. He had

her on meds, but then he started treating the yeast. So confusing. My

husband has bad yeast, and I have a bacteria problem, so perhaps she

has yeast/bacteria problem. I just don't know.

but if her yeast is real low... wouldn't the diflucan start bacteria

troubles too? i don't see the violent behavour when just on the

diflucan, so I am guessing that she can't handle the GSE or the

Threelac. I don't know if I am right or not.

Yes, she does good on a wheat/diary free diet. We stick pretty close

to it.

Why do these kids react to pasta. Is the pasta feeding the yeast, or

is the protien/gluten making toxic to their brain?

We have not tried enzymes, because I have heard that they would make

her react even more to amines. What are your thoughts on that!

I don't understand.

The Diflucan eats up the yeast just like the GSE and the Threelac,

right? then why would only the GSE and the Threelac cause bacteria

problems, and not the Diflucan....if the yeast is low already. I am

probably just " thick " and not getting this! :)

Are you going to be GF/CF for life, or will they be able to handle

some of this stuff after chelation. It is really hard to keep every

teeny bit of this stuff away from her. She is 9, and sneaks stuff any

chance she gets. We never knew what foods were making her sick,...so

we were on a dozen different diets trying to find out what was wrong

with her and she has had it!!!

Its the toxic chemicals in the wheat products and the dairy

products..and many other foods...

It is very important to eat organic foods.. No matter what you

eat.. Make sure it is Organic.. Especially with severely immune

compromised children such as ours..

Toxins destroy the immune system and the body breaks down gradually..

Toxins are hard to excrete from the body and get stuck inside the

intestinal tract..causing difficulty for the body to absorb the

nutrients from the food eaten...therefor causing GI probs...

Detoxing will really help the GI probs in relation to the food

allergies..etc.

There are good gluten-free pastas available. We like the rice pasta from Trader

Joe's.

This sounds reasonable.

I never noticed an increase in amine reactions, in fact my son

tolerated bananas with No-Fenol. For some kids, No-Fenol will help

with amines, but for other kids it won't. But the amine reaction

should not be any worse than it is now, altho it might present

differently.

My son tolerated no foods when I started biomedical. HNI enzymes

allowed him to tolerate many foods. ALA chelation and several

supplements allowed him to tolerate all foods. Today, he has no food

restrictions whatsoever.
