I will say our junior high does somewhat the same thing...the

" developmentaly delayed " group will go in after all students have left

the cafeteria. They will " earn " money to use in the school store that

their teacher has put together. There are 3 lunch sittings, and during

the forst two the students must make sure there isn't trash around

their table (seats 6). Then after students have taken care of their

lunch tray staff goes around with a cloth and asks the students to wipe

their table. The student body actually has no idea this group of

students takes care of the cafeteria (stacking chairs, basically, so

the janitors can wash the floor) because they have all left.

This other situation is horrible, at best, and my heart aches for these

children.

This is happening at Mickie's sister's Junior High School. Mickie

sister took the videos. I didn't want to say anything until I had

proof. I wish there was a way to contact the parents. Once the school

knows this is known they are going to hide it.

One thought was to have it posted on YouTube, but I think the bullies would

think they were cool and it would potentially further humiliate the students

with disabilities.

The videos that I have show two different kids picking up trash. The

mocking part is not in the video, that is just my daughters eye

witness information.
