Guest guest
It looks good. Did you know that you can dose at 4 hour intervals while the child is sleeping since the metabolism slows. We do that here; it is nice to get 4 hours of sleep instead of just three. We try to plan the last 3 hour dose at bedtime, so we all get 4 hours, then another four while sleeping before resuming the daytime 3 hours schedule. What is the plan for vitamin and mineral support? Do you have any yeast protocol planned? Yes, people do chelate without buying Andy's book. We bought the book though, and thoroughly enjoyed it. My favorite part is the supplement section. Guest guest
Betty, Andy's book is loaded with information that I reference every day - before chelation and during. It's not a book I would be without on this journey to be quite honest. Every time I open it, I learn something new. (and I make $0 by suggesting anyone buy it) Check the files posted on the group for the recommended supplement support. Yes. If your son has had fairly recent mercury exposure (like a vaccine with thimerosal) then this would be iffy. Every 3 hours even during the night is ideal. good wishes, Moria
Guest guest
The book is only a tool to help you give the right chemicals to your kid, and do it properly. Chemicals like ALA (or the food you feed him, which is really justa bunch of chemicals mother nature whipped up for you) don't know or care if you have my book. The book costs 2-3% of the cost of the first DAN! doctor visit according to what people told me in response to asking how much the doc's cost to see. I think it is more than 2 -3% as valuable and helpful as that first visit. Up to you what to do. I'm not going to hard sell you, there is plenty of useful information in the files section of the list, and the chemicals really don't care. Guest guest
No, Andy, that's not hard sell, but I think it's kinda sad. But not on your part! Folks, as a courtesy, or a sign of respect, or thanks, or just plain common decency -- EVERYONE who is thinking of following the frequent-dose chelation DMSA/DMPS/ALA protocol known as the Cutler protocol SHOULD buy a copy of one of Andy's books, or better, both. This is my personal opinion, of course, but even if you are just following the instructions in the files sections, they are the result of the research, intelligence, and hard work of a man who basically has given this to the community and continues to give of his time (unlike one of the many cults of alternative or traditional medicines, where consultations with a " guru " run thousands of dollars.) Were talking 35 bucks here, when you're already spending thousands on supplements. Please. Do the right thing. >The book is only a tool to help you give the right chemicals to your >kid, and do it properly. >Chemicals like ALA (or the food you feed him, which is really justa >bunch of chemicals >mother nature whipped up for you) don't know or care if you have my book. > >The book costs 2-3% of the cost of the first DAN! doctor visit >according to what people >told me in response to asking how much the doc's cost to see. Guest guest
Besides the " right thing " argument, lets not forget how darn useful the book is as a reference just to have lying around the kitchen.... " Why are we giving that supplement again? " " What's it meant to improve? " " " What are the possible side effects... " " How do we know if its not tollerated? " and so it goes on..... I have a whole bookshelf or two of books on health, herbs, diets, exercise, etc. One shelf for mercury-(and autism)-related books. On the other hand, let's not boil down all the work that's gone into the instructions in the files sections to the hard work of Andy etc. Depending on how literal you want to be about it, either a few dozen people or hundreds of people have worked on the files-- with Andy being one of many who contributed. Personally, I'd pick a much bigger number, since I see work as including some pretty indirect things. So, I'd say that the work of at least hundreds of people went into the files. If I were discussing it with someone with a more literal and narrow meaning of " work " I'd say several people have worked on it. good wishes, Moria
